The new interface of the LG V30 smartphone will facilitate the unlocking

The LG UX 6.0 overlay will bring to its high-end V30 smartphone a floating bar as well as two new recognition systems for unlocking.

LG continues to distill information about its future V30 smartphone. After a very bright photo optics announced for this device, it is the turn of the interface to be unveiled with the arrival of the UX 6.0 overlay, specially designed, according to the manufacturer, for the screen OLED 6 Inches in the 18: 9 format of the V30. LG confirms, as was expected, the arrival of a floating bar, giving access to the functions most used.

On the new flagship of LG, this bar replaces the small secondary screen on the model V20. It can be placed anywhere on the screen or even be hidden if you do not need it anymore. The smartphone will also have an Always On Display (AOD) feature that displays a clock when the device is idle, or even a music player, toolbar or personal photo.
Unlocking by voice or face

But the most interesting innovations are the unlocking of the V30, for which LG has planned two new systems of recognition. The first uses the face of the user and is activated by the front camera. This facial recognition works even when the display is off, without the need to press the power button. Voice recognition uses the voice of the user, combined with keywords. For this, LG uses Qualcomm's Aqstic voice UI technology, which also provides the Snapdragon 835 processor on this smartphone. This technology makes it possible to have a constantly active recognition without requiring much energy.
Improved haptic feedback

LG also indicates that the haptic feedback, which is felt by pressing a button on the screen, can be customized with combinations of vibrations. This system is designed by the company Immersion which offers HD TouchSense technology close to that of the Taptic Engine of iPhone 6S and higher. The technology allows precise control over the duration and intensity of vibrations, instead of having only three levels as is the case with basic motors.

The V30 smartphone should have 4 or 6 GB of RAM, as well as 64 GB of flash memory for storage. It will be delivered with the latest version of Android, known for the moment under the letter O. The device will be officially announced by LG at a conference to be held on 31 August at the IFA in Berlin.
